VCorp’s Seth Farbman talks about entrepreneurship, the importance of giving and how to hustle when starting your own company. Did you ever hear a story about the guy who was so dedicated to his idea that he slept on his couch to work through the night, growing his business into a multi-million dollar company? Well, Seth Farbman actually did that. While working as a lawyer, he came up with an idea for a company. After launching the company with a close friend, he literally slept on his couch to deliver twenty-four hour service to his clients. Years later he sold his company for many millions. I sat down with him to speak about how he took an idea and literally turned it into a multi-million dollar business.

Until May 1999, Mr. Farbman served as a securities attorney with the New York Law Firm of Feder Kaszovitz et al., where he represented Nasdaq- listed companies and worked on public offerings underwritten by investment banking firms such as DLJ, Morgan Keegan and Advest.
Mr. Farbman is a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey and is currently a member of the American Bar Association and of the ABA’s Committee on the Federal Regulation of Securities. Mr. Farbman resides in Long Island, New York with his wife and children.
